Led by Artistic Director and founder Victoria Petrolo, DanceCity’s Latin productions are the most sought after shows in Melbourne and have been entertaining thousands of audiences at Crown Casino to all major entertainment venues both locally and around Australia and New Zealand since 1998.


2014 has been a rewarding year, with Victoria contracted by Crown Casino Melbourne to choreograph, direct and costume a strong cast of 10 dancers, specialist duo act, singers, fire twirler and drummers for a spectacular hour of Latin entertainment for Crown's Colours of Cuba celebratiing Cuban culture and the arts.


Under Victoria's specialist expertise, the stage show CUBAN NIGHTS showcased at The Palms over 4 nights and then contracted to Crown Perth to close the month long celebraton of Colours of Cuba promtional month. The one hour stage extravaganza emcompassed many different latin dance styles. The show received many positive testimonies as well as Victoria's client being extremely happy with the show and reaction from Crown's Club members. Lots of cheering throughout each performance!


During the exciting season for Crown Casino's - Colours of Cuba promotion during Aug-Sept 2014, Victoria was also contracted in early September for a second time to direct and choreograph a brand new stage show called 'RHYTHMS OF THE WORLD' for Darwin's Charity Fundraising event for the Royal Children's Hospital hosted by O'Donohue's First National Real Estate.


At the end of 2013,  Victoria was also contracted by VIVA BRAZIL in Prahran to provide high energy Brazilian Samba entertainment for the soft launch of the new restaurant as well as the official launch held in January 2014. Since the official launch DanceCity has continued to provide quality Brazilian entertainment every Friday and Saturday nights - DanceCity is proud to be working with VIVA BRAZIL bringing Rio de Janeiro's carnival to our dining guests!


From 2005-2012, DanceCity 's ELEGUA Latin Spectacular show performed every weekend at Copacabana International in Fitzroy putting on a feast of enfused Street Latin dance styles in a fun-packed and high energy latin cabaret show ! 1 hour stage show each and every week!


Victoria works with many Event Coordinators and agents all of which entrust her ideas and creative energy when designing entertainment for their functions. Having worked on so many successfully deilvered events, Victoria's has a loyal client base looking after their entertainment needs year after year.

Victoria brings together a team of professional and disciplined performers to achieve her vision and deliver an outstanding production that provide a long lasting impact for her clients and their guests.


As a choreographer, Victoria's passion for street latin has no boundaries with creating cutting edge contemporary latin choreography.


Over the last 15 years, Victoria has trained and continues her training in Street Latin dance styles from various styled Brazilian Samba, Lambada, Samba Reggae, Afro-Brazil to Cuban Salsa, Rumba, Afro-Cuban, Merengue, Argentine Tango and everything else in between.


Victoria's list of performance credits is extensive having worked with some of Australia’s leading choreographers from cheerleading for Melbourne Storm, National Rugby League (NRL), Cheerleading for the Dubai Rugby 7’s , performing at New Zealand’s Multicultural festival to corporate events both locally and overseas, including modelling assignments, performed in various music video clips for Sony, BMG records and independent labels as well as featuring on Channel 10's the  ' Secret Life of Us'.


In 2011, Victoria was cast for a feature role as a ‘latin performer’ in Channel 7’s Winners & Losers working alongside main cast members and performing with actor, Tom Wren.

Victoria’s training also  includes Modern Jazz, Contemporary, Classical Ballet (Cechetti Syllabus), Tap (Honours), Afro, Latin American & New Vogue (Ballroom), Street Latin and holds an Associate Diploma in Modern Ballet, Australian Dancing Society, (ADS).
